2024 Information Sessions
These sessions will be held in Term 4 of 2023 and allow first-year VET students to find out information related to the VET courses you may be interested in studying. They are valuable because they are designed to provide both students and parents insight around what each VET course will involve. This will also be an opportunity to introduce IMVC and briefly explain the role we play in providing VET Delivered to Secondary Schools.
The VET providers and trainers will be on hand to explain about their courses on offer
- who the course might appeal to
- the skills required, and
- the career pathways that lead from that course of study.
The sessions will also help first-year VET students to understand what VCE/VCAL/VPC and VCE Vocational Major outcomes are provided, the course content and the level of commitment required to complete the course.
Most importantly, they allow the opportunity to ask any questions you might have for IMVC or the course providers.
The below Term 4 dates and times have been confirmed.
NOTE: For security MS Teams links and passcodes will be provided directly to IMVC schools, parents and students must confirm access details with your school VET coordinator before attending the information session. The information sessions are compulsory to understand the VET course requirements.
