Selected units from SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality (Partial Completion)
This program provides students with additional learning and access needs an overview of the hospitality industry, as well as the necessary training and skills development for the achievement of competence in Food and Beverage Service.
Please note this is a one-year program. Students will receive a Statement of Attainment.

- Interested in barista, waitressing and customer service
- Keen to develop communication skills
- Interested in a career in the hospitality industry
Additional Requirements/Information
Students will need to wear a white shirt, black pants and black footwear during Front of House functions.
Program Content
Sample competencies covered include:
- Work effectively with others
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and serve espresso coffee

Work placement
Work placement is not required.
Contribution to VCE/VCAL/Vocational Major
VCE/VCAL/VM: Units completed may contribute hours toward a student’s secondary studies.
Students complete selected units which can provide credit toward further studies in the Certificate II in Hospitality.
